Abstract: The objectives of this research were 1) to study the personal, economic, and social characteristics of Arabica coffee growers in Nayaiam district, Chanthaburi province 2) to analyze the level of knowledge of farmers in decision to grow Arabica coffee in Na yai am district, Chanthaburi province 3) to analyze the attitude of farmers in decision to grow Arabica coffee in Nayaiam district, Chanthaburi province 4) to study the problems and obstacles in decision to grow Arabica coffee in Nayaiam district, Chanthaburi province. The sample were farmers who grow Arabica coffee in Nayaiam District, Chanthaburi Province with a total of 6 subdistricts with 256 people. Collect data from 156 samples. The questionnaire was created to collect data between April to July 2023. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics included frequency, average, percentage, minimum, maximum, and standard deviation Hypotheses were tested using multiple regression analysis. Research showed that the majority of farmers were male, are over 51 years old, graduated from Primary school. There were 4-5 people in the household., Farmers had agricultural land of 1-5 rai and grow to Arabica coffee in an area of 1-5 rai. Most farmers own land and this area was located outside the irrigation area. Farmers had 2-3 workers who grow Arabica coffee. The average annual income of a household was 100,001–150,000 baht and average annual income from growing Arabica coffee was 30,001-60,000 baht. Farmers had their own sources of funding to grow Arabica coffee, and most of them do not have debt. In addition, Farmers had never grown other types of coffee. Farmers had one year of experience in growing Arabica coffee. The promoted variety is the Bourbon. There is a characteristic of growing Arabica coffee species together with fruit trees. Farmers received information about Arabica coffee from their neighbors. and persuasion from neighbors was the reason for the decision to grow Arabica coffee.
