Abstract: The purpose of this independent research is to examine opinions on the benefits of compulsory motorbike insurance among registered motorcycle users in Phrae province. The study encompasses premium rates, coverage benefits of policies, conditions for claiming damages, and channels for purchasing insurance. The researcher collected data through a questionnaire from a sample group consisting of motorcycle users registered in and residing in Phrae province, totaling 385 samples. The data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically employing the Chi-square statistic to assess the independence of variables such as gender, age, education level, occupation, and monthly income concerning opinions on the benefits of compulsory motorbike insurance. The statistical significance level was set at 0.05. The results showed that the majority of the sample group were female, aged between 41-50 years, had an education level lower than a bachelor's degree, worked in private businesses or sales, and had a monthly income equal to or less than 15,000 Baht. The study also found that most of the respondents were aware of compulsory motor vehicle insurance through acquaintances, family, or friends. Additionally, they were primarily the owners of their motorcycles and had purchased insurance for reasons related to risk management in case of accidents, to protect themselves, their families, and those under their care. Regarding the opinions on the benefits of compulsory motor vehicle insurance, the study revealed that the sample group generally had a high level of support for such insurance. Across all four aspects studied, the highest average score was related to the protection provided by the insurance policy, particularly in cases of accidents resulting in harm to life, physical health, or well-being due to a motor vehicle accident. The lowest average score related to insurance premiums and insurance channels, in that order. all factors, such as age, occupation, and monthly income, were found to influence opinions on compulsory motor vehicle insurance.
