Abstract: This study examined the effects of online group counseling based on acceptance and commitment therapy on resilience quotient among people with long covid-19. The purposes of this research were to study the following: (1) The effects of online group counseling on the resilience quotient of people with long covid-19; and (2) The members’ perspectives after participating in online group counseling. This is a quasi-experimental research, conducted with 20 participants through purposive sampling. The participants were divided into experimental and control groups, with 10 members per group. The experimental group received online group counseling based on acceptance and commitment therapy, and the control group was trained on the concept of acceptance and commitment. A pre-test and post-test were given as part of this study. Then, the experimental group was interviewed to examine their perspectives after participating in online group counseling. The main results were as follows: (1) The resilience quotient scores in the experimental group after the experiment had increased at a level of .05; (2) The post-test period of resilience quotient scores in the experimental group had a higher score than the control group at a level of .05 and The Effect Sizes showed that the program had practical significance on Resilience quotient (Cohen's d=1.0985). The conclusion of the analysis shows that online group counseling based on acceptance and commitment therapy can improve the experimental group resilience quotient score. Moreover, the perspective of the experimental group found consistency with the acceptance and commitment therapy concepts, such as being mindful of suffering thoughts, living in the present, accepting thoughts without judgment, and returning to a state of biopsychospiritual homeostasis.
