Abstract: Independent Study Title Using Gamification to Develop English Speaking Skills and English Learning Motivation of Grade 3 Students Author Miss Suphaporn Somjit Degree Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) Advisory Committee Asst. Prof. Dr.Natad Assapaporn Advisor Asst. Prof. Dr.Sakda Sawathanan Co-advisor ABSTRACT This study of Using Gamification to Develop English Speaking Skills and English Learning Motivation of Grade 3 Students aimed to compare English speaking skill and learning motivation of Grade 3 students before and after using gamification. The population of this study was grade 3 students of Chumchonbankou School during the second semester of the academic year 2022. The research instruments consisted 8 gamification lesson plans, speaking tests, and English learning motivation questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis included mean ,standard deviation, and growth score. The study findings were as followings: 1. English speaking skill after learning through gamification was higher than before. 2. English learning motivation increased after using gamification. The student motivation before learning though gamification was at low level, meanwhile the student motivation after learning through gamification was at the moderate level.
