Abstract: This independent research aims to study the criteria for choosing consumer decoration contractor service in Mueang Chiang Mai District. This will benefit the contractor to develop to meet the needs of consumers. The Sample group is 200 consumers who are currently renovating or who have been renovating buildings in the past 2 years in the area of Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. Data were collected by using questionnaires and using data analysis. With a hierarchical analysis decision process (AHP) method. From the results of the study, it was found that the consumers in the district of Mueang Chiang Mai. There are buildings such as detached houses, townhouses, commercial buildings, condominiums, and decorated for residential, selling and consumer businesses. The detached house is renovated for living Single-detached houses, renovated for business purposes Townhouses decorated for residents. Condominium decorated for residential renovation Condominium renovated for rent Commercial buildings decorated for residential use Commercial buildings, renovated for business Commercial buildings, renovated for sale Commercial buildings, renovated for rent All this Keep the weight value of the highest priority of the main criterion, the main criterion for past performance. And the sub-criteria of the main criterion with the highest priority weight is the performance quality criterion and the sub-criterion that has the highest weight of all sub-criteria is the performance quality criterion. And for consumers with decorative additions for rent, the weight of the highest priority is the organizational and administrative criterion. The sub-criteria of the main criterion with the highest priority weight is the operational plan criteria. But the sub-criteria with the highest weight value is the quality criterion of the work and for consumers with single-detached houses, renovations for renting, weighting the top priority of the main criteria is the organizational and administrative criterion. The sub-criteria of the main criterion with the highest priority weight is the budget plan criteria but the sub-threshold with the highest weight is the financial stability criterion. As for consumers who have Detached house renovated for sale Let the weight value of the top priority of the main criterion is the main criterion of financial competence. And the sub-criterion of these key criteria that has the highest priority is the financial stability criterion and the sub-criteria weighing the most importance out of all of the sub-criteria is the same financial stability criterion. And finally, consumers with Townhouse to decorate and add to the business. The most important weight of the main criteria is the personnel and labor criterion. And the sub-criterion of the main criterion with the highest priority weight is the experience criterion. The sub-criteria that weighed the most importance out of all the sub-criteria is the same experience criterion.
