Abstract: The study of Collaborative Knowledge Management Between Luang Nuea Subdistrict Municipality and Tai-Lue Community, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province had 3 objectives as follows: 1) to study the identity of Tai Lue Wisdom 2) to study the nature of Tai Lue Tradition and Culture that affect Tai Lue Wisdom 3) to study the implementation of Luang Nuea Subdistrict Municipality in promoting and supporting Tai Lue Wisdom 4) to study the role of various departments on the development of Tai Lue Wisdom in Luang Nuea Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province. This study was a qualitative research. The researcher collected data from 22 persons who concerned about learning resource development in Luang Nuea Village and all of them were also living in this community. The population included persons who had knowledge about Tai Lue Wisdom, seniors, local executives, community leaders, village philosophers/wisdom scholars, youth leaders, and municipal officials and using in-depth interviews and non-participant observation in various learning activities. The study found that people who involved in the management of local wisdom used a systematic process in knowledge management. This process was processing information in a thought or action as well as specific experience of individuals to generate the knowledge or innovation and storing it as the resource that the general people could easily access through various channels which they could bring the knowledge received to be applied in their lives. There were the sharing and transfer of knowledge. Finally, the knowledge would be spreading and circulating widely. Tai Lue Wisdom of Luang Nuea Village had a clear identity of ethnic group which had 4 characteristics included the knowledge and the knowledge system, the accumulation and dissemination of knowledge, the transfer of knowledge, and the creation. The development of wisdom to be become a place of learning had used several important factors, including strengthened community and cooperated in the development of learning resource and community leaders collaborated to develop and promote the knowledge of wisdom. It also had a network operation and mutual cooperation. The wisdom scholars were in a variety of fields and experiences, so that they were ready to transfer knowledge to those interested all the time. The suggestions of this study were as follows: 1) local government should support the budget to the wisdom scholars for developing and integrating knowledge 2) local government should develop Tai Lue Wisdom networks in northern provinces to be an outstanding work 3) local government should support the development of local wisdom to be a travel place managed by a unified community such as supporting budget, staffs, and information technology 4) community itself should create network in subdistrict, district, and province to be strengthened and propose projects to government agencies at various levels.
