Abstract: This research has the objectives: 1) to study basic personal information, economics, society and some coffee production conditions of farmers; 2) to analyze factors related to knowledge and practices in coffee production. of farmers 3) To study the problem, farmers' needs and suggestions for coffee production. The sample used in the research is coffee producing farmers in Pak Chong District, Champasak Province Lao People's Democratic Republic, 172 people using simple random sampling using a random number table. Data was collected using interviews between November - December 2023 Statistics used to analyze the data include descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, maximum, minimum, standard deviation. and use the reference statistic, namely multiple regression analysis The results of the study found that 68.00 percent of farmers were male, with an average age of 43.57 years, and had completed primary school. There is an average number of workers in the household of 4.046 people, an average coffee growing area of 12.45 rai, an average coffee production per rai of 1,427.72 kg, and an average net income from coffee production per rai of 31,409.86 baht. Almost all farmers do not receive information or do not. receive training on coffee production. Overall, farmers have a moderate level of knowledge in coffee production and a high level of practice. The results of the hypothesis testing found that knowledge of coffee production among farmers had a positive and statistically significant relationship (P<0.05) with gender, age In terms of coffee production practices of farmers, there is a positive and statistically significant relationship (P<0.05) with age, hired labor, own area while net income from average coffee production per rai. There is a negative relationship with the practice. Research also found that most farmers face problems with diseases and insects. The problem of chemical fertilizer prices rising. The farmers want to organize training to provide knowledge about corrections. Disease and insect problems keep up with events and recommend that relevant agencies have agricultural experts in plant diseases and insects to provide knowledge and recommend methods for preventing and eliminating insects. Therefore, government agencies and related organizations, including agricultural and urban forestry officials in the area, should provide advice and organize training programs to increase understanding of disease and insect management in coffee cultivation. This should include instructions on using appropriate prevention and elimination methods. Additionally, these agencies should encourage farmers to use organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers. This approach may help reduce production costs and decrease reliance on purchasing high-priced chemical fertilizers.
