Abstract: The purposes of this research were (1) to investigate the relationships between perceived organizational support, job satisfaction and intention to stay of registered nurses in private hospitals, and (2) to examine predictive power of perceived organizational support on intention to stay with job satisfaction as a mediator. The correlational research design was used. The sample was 300 registered nurses who worked for private hospitals and period of working in there more than 6 months. Research instruments consisted of demographic questionnaire, perceived organizational support scale, intention to stay scale and job satisfaction scale. Data were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis (Causal Steps of Baron & Kenny, 1986 cite in Kenny, 2014) and finally Sobel test was used. The research results were as follows: 1. Perceived organizational support had a significantly positive correlation with intention to stay at the .01 level (r = .665). 2. Perceived organizational support had a significantly positive correlation with Job satisfaction at the .01 level (r = .711). 3. Job satisfaction had a significantly positive correlation with intention to stay at the .01 level (r = .655). 4. Job satisfaction was partially mediated the relationship between perceived organizational support and intention to stay of registered nurses in private hospitals.
