Abstract: This independent study aims to reduce processing time and reduce errors of officers. According to the studies of fish-bone diagram in order to find the causes of errors together with 4M1E principle of finding the origin of the causes and utilization of Lean by applying Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Flow Process Chart and ECRS, the study found that the officers require the work manual which specified the work standards included details of verification process. The officers are aware and are more cautious which enable to compare the reduction of the errors percentage accordingly. By the error of key-in wrong data, the percentage decreases 28.21 % from 24 times out of 6,127 shipments found in 6 months which is 0.39% to 3 times out of 1,045 shipments in 1 month which is 0.28%. The other error is the delayed in getting back to the customer when found out that arrived shipment has the problem occurred in destination country, decreases 68.97% from 18 times found in 6 months which is 0.29% to 1 time out of 1,045 shipments which is 0.09%. Therefore, the overall of the error is decreased 30.46% from 2.20% to 2.01%. In addition, the company is able to reduce paper and printer ink costs, a total of 559.80 baht per month. Moreover, the study of processing time reduction found that there are 22 work processes which take 1 hour 15 minutes and 44 seconds per time from receiving until sending process to transport department before the improvement has been made. Referring to fish-bone diagram together with 4M1E principle, the improvement is made by ECRS principle which enable to decrease work process to 20 processes which take 1 hour 2 minutes and 53 seconds per time.To summarize of the reducing processing time study, there are 2 work processes of storefront staff with 12 minutes and 51 seconds processing time that have been decreased. Lastly, after the improvement, the work process of packing staff remained 23 processes and average time reduced 2 minutes 47 seconds which is 37 minutes 12 second per time that reduced 6.19%.
