Abstract: The research aims to study the find answers about employment and job characteristics of the “Firefighters” group consisting of fireman Firefighters, Fireman Fire, Operation set of Fire-Hawk and fire extinguishing networks to study the participation of working processes in the forest fire extinguishing network. An overview of the problems and obstacles of the fire fighters in the forest fire extinguishing network. as well as the attitude or perspective of the firefighters towards insecure work in terms of legal status employment conditions occupational safety and protection welfare in managing forest fires in the northern region. The finding revealed that show Firefighters perceive that the job of extinguishing wildfires is inherently precarious and dangerous. But such awareness does not have much influence or role in managing forest fire and haze problems. Because most firefighters are affected by forest fires in their communities. Therefore, there is an ideal and commitment to forest fire management. However, the firefighters were all faced with a dilemma. to the problem of legal status and conditions of temporary employment as a service contract that the government hires the private sector to carry out the mission of extinguishing forest fires according to the constitutional law and the law on distribution to local government organizations with limitations from the status of contractors and service contracts. As a result, such groups of people are not protected by labor laws and social security laws and face various factors that resulted in unstable work that led to that dilemma to study and resolve conflicts between legal employment and social reality. There should be a local administrative organization and the relevant charities to find a common solution to urgently solve the problem.
