Abstract: The purpose of this Independent Study is to improve the warehouse of Lertwattana Karnkha Ordinary Partnership with 5ส system since the process of importing, storing, and exporting products includes a recording of data. Data has been collected by interviewing the owner, observing, and participating in identifying problems, and then arranging in a fishbone diagram to analyze causes. After exploring, the solving process has begun with appointing a committee, announcing the policy, establishing working standards, publishing manual and media, allocating managed areas, actualizing the 5ส process, evaluation, and conclusion. According to the improvement for the warehouse of Lertwattana Karnkha Ordinary Partnership with 5สsystem, there are three evaluation methods: searching products time measurement, the measurement of the recovered area, and evaluation from the committee. Results from measuring the time used for searching products inform that reduced in every building which store building dropped from 29.68 minutes to 18.73 minutes which reduce to 10.95 minutes, represents 36.89%, and the searching time of warehouse building has dropped from 16.80 minutes to 10.64 minutes which decreased for 6.16 minutes, represents for 36.66%. The storage room of hoses, wires, and cables at the store building has a storage area of 28.64 m2 used for 22.31 m2, with free space remaining of 6.32 m2. After improving, the storage area reduced to 16.87 m2 with 11.76 m2 of increased free space, which recovered to 5.44 m2, representing 46.24%. The storage room of spare parts, truck straps, spray paint, and small electric motors at the store building has a storage area of 48.29 m2, used for 34.66 m2, with free space remaining of 13.62 m2. After improving, the storage area had reduced to 30.83 m2 with 17.45 m2 of increased free space, which recovered to 3.83 m2, representing 21.93%. The storage room of sandpaper rolls, inverter welding machines, agricultural equipment, and submersible pumps at the store building has a storage area of 65.75 m2 used for 56.43 m2 with free space remaining of 9.31 m2. After improving, the storage area reduced to 43.18 m2 with 22.56 m2 of increased free space, which recovered to 13.24 m2, representing 58.71%. The storage room of small products, mechanic tools, and high price power tools at the warehouse building has a total area of 18.04 m2 used for 12.28 m2, with free space remaining for 5.75 m2. After improving, the storage area had reduced to 9.43 m2 with 8.61 m2 of increased free space, which recovered to 2.85 m2, representing 33.18%. The results of the 5ส system evaluation found that the average score was 84.14, Shitsuke (the disciplinary factor) had the highest total score at 89.47, Seisou (the cleanliness factor) was ranked the second at 85.00, Seiton (the neatness factor) was the third overall score at 83.75. Seiri (the organization factor) has a total score of fourth at 82.50. Seiketsu (the standardization factor) was in the final position, scoring 80.00.
