Abstract: This independent study aimed to assess the value of consumer willingness to pay (WTP) for purchasing private Electric Vehicle in Chiang Mai Province as well as to study the factors influencing the determination of consumers' willingness to pay for the purchase of electric passenger vehicles in Chiang Mai Province. The data was collected by questionnaire, using a survey sample of 400 car-owning Chiang Mai residents. By processing willingness to pay value using the STATA program with the Double Bounded Logit Model, using the WTP for mean values command, and in the analysis of factors influencing the value determination of consumers' willingness to pay toward the purchase of electric passenger vehicles in Chiang Mai Province Regression equations were analyzed in the Censored Regression Model, which has a log-normal cumulative probability distribution function (CDF). The study found that the average of WTP was 389,354.50 baht (the additional price of the current car ownership to convert to electric vehicles). And the results were that the initial bid factor, second bid factor, type of vehicle factor, cost factors for current vehicle maintenance, and knowledge factor about the charging and charging time of electric vehicle were the factors influencing the confidence level of 99 percent. And the number of vehicles in the household factor, attitude factor about reducing fuel costs, attitude factor about the speed of spare parts procurement of service centers, and the attitude factor about reducing fuel costs were the factors influencing the confidence level of 95 percent. There were a knowledge factor about charging and charging time for electric vehicles, and a number of motor vehicles in the household were opposite relationship with willingness to pay.
