Abstract: The research entitled "Cooperation Network in Water Management of Lamphun Water Resource Management Operation Center" was regarded as the qualitative study. It aimed to 1) study the cooperation networks and forms between the government agencies and the community networks in moving forward the preparation for an information system of water resource and water management of Lamphun Water Resource Management Operation Center, 2) consider the factors affecting the success of cooperation network in moving forward the preparation for an information system of water resource and water management of Lamphun Water Resource Management Operation Center, 3) analyze the problems and obstacles of cooperation management between the government agencies and the community networks to move forward the development and water management of Lamphun Water Resource Management Operation Center, and 4) explore the benefits and further continuation of an information system of water management to create the plans or projects related to the solutions to water shortage, flood, floodwaters and waste water in Lamphun Province from the past to the present and the future. According to the results of the study, first, the cooperation network in water management of Lamphun Water Resource Management Operation Center was in the form of collaboration whereby the long-term targets were accordingly determined through collaborations in water management and cooperation networks for implementing activities and projects. Second, success factors for cooperation network of Lamphun Water Resource Management Operation Center included regular communications, joint decision-making in every procedure, effective networks, role and decision- making promotion among the members, continuous and effective resource mobilization, ongoing resource mobilization efforts from all sectors and the link between people of the same generation, old and new generations for further continuation. Third, regarding the problems and obstacles in moving forward the preparation for an information system of water management, it was found that 1) in terms of personnel, some of them lacked the ability to manage water resource; 2) in terms of the budget, some network members viewed that the inadequate budgets actually delayed the operation; 3) in terms of the leader role for cooperation, the problem was associated with water resource management by some community leaders; and 4) in terms of intersectoral cooperation, there was still a lack of cooperation from the younger generation.
