Abstract: The objectives of this independent study are to 1) study the levels of happiness at work of Staffs in Nan Department of Provincial Administrative and 2) study the factors affecting the happiness at work of Staffs in Nan Department of Provincial Administrative. This research is conducted in a quantitative study, using a questionnaire survey to collect data. The population for the study is 59 government officers, government employees, employees, and members of the Volunteer Defense Corps serving in Nan province territory. Statistics used to analyze the data are frequency, percent, standard deviation, and simple correlation. The result has shown that 59 administration officers undergo happiness level in work life as "Happy" at 72.60%, In terms of the 7th dimension, "Happy Family" is the dimension that provides the most happiness to them at 79.20%. The 3rd dimension, "Happy Heart," and the 5th dimension, "Happy Soul," stay at 78.80% and 76.00%, respectively. For the 6th dimension, "Happy Money" provides the officers least happiness. It is at 65.60%. The results of testing hypotheses found that factors of age, work position, personnel relationship, and work condition relate to the happiness of administration personnel in Nan province, statistically significant at 0.05 The researcher recommended that the organization measures the internal happiness of the staff consecutively, as well as make annual health check to collect the data to plan, solve the problem, and develop levels of personnel's happiness. According to the further study, the analysis should include a comparison of happiness levels among the provincial officers working in other provinces or other units because there are some similar contents and duties. In short, future studies should analyze other factors affecting happiness in work life, i.e., motivation and competency of work.
