Abstract: Porous concrete receives much more attention nowadays due to its excellent drainage and insulation properties. In this study, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam waste was used as an admixture to the typical porous concrete in order to improve its mechanical properties. Acetone and toluene were applied as solvents for EPS foam with the ratios of 4:1 and 3:2. Portland cement mixtures were prepared with water-to-cement (W/C) ratios ranging from 0.25 to 0.70 before mixing with the EPS foam admixture. Crushed limestone sizing of 1/2” and 3/8” were used as coarse aggregate with the ratios of 30:70 and 50:50, respectively. The proportion of cement binder (Portland cement and EPS admixture) to coarse aggregate was set to 1:2.75 to produce the porous concrete samples. The results showed that porous concrete with the EPS admixture achieved higher compressive strength than the control sample without EPS admixture for both 7-day and 28-day age. The ESP admixture porous concrete yielded a maximum compressive strength of 11.04 MPa, while the porous concrete without admixture with a maximum compressive strength of 6.26 MPa. The EPS admixture was found to coat the coarse aggregate and increase the bonding between cement binder and those gravels. From such research, it was found that the EPS foam waste admixture can significantly improve the properties of the porous concrete and can also be a channel to utilize massive amount of EPS foam wastes
