Abstract: The purposes of this research were to 1) create and determine the quality of lesson plans for enhancing English writing ability by using dictogloss process among grade 11 students, 2) compare English writing ability before and after being taught by using dictogloss process among grade 11 students and 3) study happiness in learning of dictogloss process among grade 11 students during and after learning. The research samples were 30 students in grade 11 of the first semester of the academic year 2022 at Wangchinwitthaya School chosen by cluster random sampling. The research instruments consist of lesson plans using dictogloss process evaluation form, English writing subjective test and the happiness in learning scale. The data were analyzed by means, and standard deviations. The findings of the research were as follows: 1. Lesson plans to enhance English writing ability using dictogloss process were judged at very good level in total. 2. The students’ English writing ability after being taught by using dictogloss process were higher and there were significant differences at the .05 level. 3. The result of students’ happiness in learning during and after being taught by using dictogloss process both revealed at a high level.
