dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this research was to examine the life stories reflected through the individual's tattoos, and to understand the process of identity construction through the individual's tattoos. This study was qualitative research using narrative analysis. The total number of 8 key informants were people with tattoos who lived in the area of Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. There were 3 themes identified surrounding the issue of narrative identity; 1) Tattoo narratives as a process of identity expression, 2) Tattoo narratives as a process of negotiation with social norms, and 3) Tattoo narratives as the process of transitions and healing of the self.	en_US

thesis.description.thaiAbstract	การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเรื่องราวในชีวิตที่สะท้อนผ่านรอยสักของบุคคล และศึกษาการประกอบสร้างอัตลักษณ์ผ่านรอยสักของตัวบุคคล โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ด้วยแบบการวิเคราะห์เรื่องเล่า (Narrative Analysis) กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก คือ ผู้ที่มีรอยสักในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 8 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่าผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักทั้ง 8 ท่านเปิดเผยให้ผู้วิจัยได้เห็นว่าเรื่องเล่าในรอยสักเป็นการแสดงให้เห็นว่ารอยสักนั้นไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแฟชั่นที่ผู้คนมีไว้ใช้เพื่อตกแต่งร่างกายเพียงเท่านั้น แต่ผู้คนเลือกใช้รอยสักเป็นหนึ่งในสัญลักษณ์ที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงอัตลักษณ์ ตัวตน และเรื่องราวในชีวิตของเจ้าของรอยสัก โดยประเด็นที่เราได้จากการสัมภาษณ์นั้นเป็นส่วนหนึ่งอัตลักษณ์เชิงเรื่องเล่า (narrative identity) ซึ่งจะสามารถแบ่งหัวข้อของเรื่องเล่าออกเป็น 3 เรื่อง ได้แก่ 1) เรื่องเล่าของรอยสักในฐานะการแสดงออกถึงอัตลักษณ์ของตัวบุคคล 2) เรื่องเล่าของรอยสักในฐานะการต่อรอง ต่อต้านกับค่านิยมในสังคม และ 3) เรื่องเล่าของรอยสักในฐานะการเปลี่ยนผ่าน และการเยียวยาตนเอง	en_US
