Abstract: This qualitative research aimed to examine protective factors for non-reoffending among juveniles who convicted of criminal offenses within a year using the case study method. Data from 8 people were collected the in-depth interviews and were analyzed using the content analysis method. The study revealed mainly two results. Firstly, there are six topics of inner-protective factors, including 1) Self-knowing and self-control 2) Growing mind 3) Sympathy 4) Accept flaws and try to work on them 5) Strive for goals and life's dreams and 6) The spirit will not give up. To discuss, juveniles who aware of emotional and cognitive states are mindfully careful even if they find themself in risk situations for committing crime again. In addition, they decided on the best strategies to solve the problem by applying various methods, evaluated events rationally before decision, especially to avoid disturbing people around them, and develop objectives for living successfully in the future. Secondly, there are three topics of outer-protective factors, including 1) Warm family 2) Friendship support and 3) Social opportunity. To discuss, child's families that had capability to provide love, warmth and caring as a consequence of child's sense of attachment, self-matter, and friendships could provide them with better supports and guidance while facing challenges thought their life. Moreover, non-judgmental, non-aggravate, and non-stigmatized society is crucial for building protective factors for juvenile non-reoffending.
