Abstract: The study on Development of 5S System of a Gas Filling Plant of Vinaisak Company Limited began with studying the general working conditions and processes of the mentioned company, collecting data to identify causes of problem, and working on 5S working plan: appointing 5S committee, declaring and implementing the 5S policies, organizing 5S training workshop, compiling 5S manual for staff, releasing media to promote the 5S, determining control area, setting standard, scheduling the Big Cleaning Day, and auditing-assessing-and providing improvements for the 5S implementations during 1 March 2019 - 31 August 2019. Regarding the arrangement of 5S training workshop for staff, an overview of staff’s knowledge on 5S after attending the workshop was rated at excellent level at the mean value of 91.78%. Hereafter were presented the 5S approaches listed in orderly according to their total score. Seiton or Set-in-Order gained the total score from the post-workshop at 93.60%, while receiving 47.73% from the pre-workshop. Shitsuke or Self-Discipline gained the total score from the postworkshop at 91.73%, while receiving 49.60% from the pre-workshop. Seiketsu or Standardize gained the total score from the post-workshop at 91.73%, while receiving 57.33% from the pre-workshop. Seiri or Sort gained the total score from the post-workshop at 90.93%, while receiving 50.40% from the pre-workshop. Seiso or Shine gained the total score from the post-workshop at 90.93%, while receiving 53.87% from the pre-workshop. These scores reflected that the staff had better understanding towards 5S system and should be ready for the 5S implementation in the next phase.After the 5S system was implemented and assessed by the 5S committee, the assessment’s results showed that the 5S implementations in an overview was rated at excellent level at the mean value of 91.85%. Hereafter were presented the 5S approaches listed in orderly according to their total score. Seiton or Set-in-Order gained the total score from the post-5S implementation at 95.00%, while receiving 57.41% from the pre-5S implementation. Seiri or Sort gained the total score from the post-5S implementation at 94.87%, while receiving 60.79% from the pre-5S implementation. Seiso or Shine gained the total score from the post-5S implementation at 93.41%, while receiving 50.23% from the pre-5S implementation. Then, the following approaches were rated at good level. Seiketsu or Standardize gained the total score from the post-5S implementation at 89.00%, while receiving 39.29% from the pre-5S implementation. Shitsuke or Sefl-Discipline gained the total score from the post-5S implementation at 86.97%, while receiving 44.08% from the pre-5S implementation. These scores reflected that the implementation of 5S system brought along the better workplace organization, which shall increase the organization efficiency by having effective and systematic working process.
