Abstract: The purpose of this research was to develop analytical reading and critical writing skills in Thai literature of Mathayom Suksa 2 students by using Jigsaw technique. The sample was 36 Mathayom Suksa 2 class 1 students of the 2013 academic year, at Arunothai Wittayakom School, Chiang Mai. The students were selected by cluster random sampling. The randomize one - group pretest - posttest design was used in this experiment. The instruments used in this research were analytical reading and critical writing and three jigsaw technique lesson plans for eighteen periods. The data were statistically analyzed by means (x ̅), standard deviation (s.d.) and t-test dependent samples. The findings of the research were as following: The results of the research indicated that the student’s skills of analytical reading and critical writing in Thai literature through using jigsaw technique had shown that the posttest was higher than the pre-test by significantly different at .05
