Abstract

The Objective of this study is to investigate the significant factors that affect the success of the water distribution pipeline construction projects in Chiang Mai Province. The significant factors are categorized into eleven main factors. The data were gathered from two groups: (1) 45 construction staffs of Provicial Waterworkss Authority (PWA): (2) 43 contractors of the water distribution pipeline construction projects. The relationship of the factors between 2 groups were analyzed the frequency and impact of each factor were determined. From the analysis, both groups agreed that the three most important main factors are external agencies factor, customer relationship factor, and labor factor. Overall, it was found that the most important main factors are external agencies factor, customer relationship factor, labor factor, site environment factor, and financial factor respectively.
