Abstract: This dissertation is a creative research on Sound Installation Art: 'Chiangmai, a Multi-Culturalism Town' to study the sound produced by religious activities and rituals in Chiang Mai municipality. Moreover, to create sound installation artworks that reflect the multiculturalism of Chiang Mai. The students have researched and studied the information in terms of documents, concepts, theories, and research, including related works of art., with the scope of content being a study of the sounds generated from religious ceremonies, including religious activities of each religion or religious place in Chiang Mai municipality and create sound installation arts reflecting the multiculturalism of Chiang Mai The boundaries of the area within the municipality of Chiang Mai and the scope of the sample population, including the population performing religious ceremonies Or religious activities at various religious places, including people involved in religious places of various communities in the municipality of Chiang Mai. Then they went to the area to record sound and collect data for analysis. Furthermore, inspire, leading to a concept that wants to present the "charm" of Chiang Mai with cultural integration with a positive impression. Moreover, techniques for creating sound installation arts. Then, create sketches of sound and visual art prototypes, including plans for the placement of works to develop into the creation of real works consisting of sculptures made using acrylic sheets printed with patterns. Various religions have speakers installed within the works to present sound art. Install intelligent light bulbs that can change colors by controlling from a mobile application and using graphic animation works on television. All these works are placed according to the direction and location referring to the city plan of Chiang Mai through the presentation as an exhibition. Art in the real space (Museum Art Space) and the digital system (Digital Exhibition) to achieve beauty. And aesthetics to the audience. The study found that the voices obtained from the data collection at various religious sites from all religions in Chiang Mai municipality confirmed the diversity of the population. Furthermore, the multicultural city of Chiang Mai is an important basis for being used as a raw material for creation suitable for stimulation and stirring up awareness, which results in the audience being entertained and aware of the meaning of concepts, attitudes, opinions, and contents of the works as well. In addition, the learners discover new knowledge from creative research projects, namely: 2. Links between content and sound 3. Presentation of concepts, stories, contents, and sound installation arts 4. The connection between sound and visual elements in art 5. The concept of the work placement by simulating the exhibition hall according to the direction and city plan 7. Suitability of the works to the area and exhibition 8. Portfolio installation This allows the study to be recorded as an academic document suitable for further study for those interested in the future. Moreover, most importantly, the knowledge gained from the study can be used in the academic circle, alternatively, used to build knowledge in the future.
