Abstract: Cross-border e-commerce has become a trade channel with high growth potential in China. It is urgent for Thai SMEs to seize the huge consumer market of CBEC in China. As the largest e-commerce platform in China, Taobao is undoubtedly the best platform to expand China's e-commerce market through Taobao. However, because many SME entrepreneurs in Thailand are not proficient in Chinese, they cannot sell products to China through Taobao B2C CBEC business. Due to the language barrier, they do not know how to use Taobao platform to export products to China, which will become the biggest problem. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the business activities of Taobao sellers through value chain analysis, combined with the questionnaire survey to determine the important Taobao operation activities of Taobao sellers, and finally use knowledge engineering to create a knowledge model for these activities, so as to help Thai SME entrepreneurs overcome language barriers, better carry out Taobao operation, and realize the good wish of selling goods to Chinese consumers. According to the steps of value chain analysis, this study first divides the business activities of Taobao sellers into primary activities and support activities. In addition, each category is further divided. Finally get the activities of all Taobao sellers after the integrated value chain analysis. At next step, this research adopts the method of combining value chain analysis and questionnaire. Use the information of Taobao sellers' operation activities obtained from the value chain analysis to formulate a questionnaire, and solicit expert opinions through this questionnaire to determine which main activities have an impact on small and medium-sized Taobao sellers, as well as the importance level of each activity. This step can also further help follow-up research to design a helpful knowledge model based on these important Taobao operations. This study will systematically sort out and classify the keywords related to Taobao's operation activities using the taxonomy method and combined with the concept of TID (Task Inference Domain) of CommonKADs. This step will better help users to efficiently retrieve useful and accurate information. Based on the results of taxonomy and CommonKAD, this study has therefore created a knowledge model for Thailand Cross Border E-Commerce SME Entrepreneur: Knowledge Map and Knowledge Manual In the knowledge evaluation stage, After Action Review method is used to distribute the knowledge model to Thai SME entrepreneurs to evaluate the model in combination with the establishment of the knowledge model in the previous stage, so as to determine the satisfaction analysis of the model, and verify the applicability of the model. The research results show that the first stage is knowledge acquisition. This study combines the value chain analysis and questionnaire survey to obtain the expertise of experts, and then determines the important operation activities in Taobao platform through data analysis. The results show that the importance values of the main activities of Taobao operation from large to small are: marketing and sales>store creation>after- sales service>outbound logistics>inbound logistics. Finally, the researcher collected the operation steps and suggestions of these Taobao operations through extensive network survey. In the second stage of knowledge organization, this study systematically combed the acquired knowledge using classification. The researcher systematically sorted out the acquired knowledge by using classification, and obtained the initial knowledge map. In the third stage of knowledge model creation, firstly, the researcher used IOC method to verify the initial knowledge map. Second, according to IOC calculation results and knowledge engineering methods modified the initial knowledge map and completed the creation of the knowledge model, which is the final version of the complete Taobao operation manual and knowledge map for Thai SMEs entrepreneurs. In the fourth stage of knowledge verification, this research is based on the AAR evaluation results of Thai SMEs entrepreneurs, so as to determine the satisfaction analysis of the proposed knowledge model and verify the applicability of the model. The final result shows that this knowledge model is very consistent with the goal. This study provides new ideas and insights for the research of cross-border e- commerce knowledge management. The research shows that paying attention to knowledge management in the field of cross-border e-commerce between China and Thailand and creating appropriate knowledge models are crucial to breaking the language barrier of cross-border e-commerce, improving the profits of Thai SMEs and establishing sustainable competitive advantages.
