Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to study the DIY plant tissue culture: STEM activities to develop problem solving skills (2) to study the DIY plant tissue culture: STEM activities to develop critical thinking. The sample group of this study was 28 Mathayom Suksa 1 students of educational opportunity extension school in Chiang Mai Province, during the second semester of academic years 2021. The instruments used in this study were lesson plans on the topic of DIY Plant Tissue Culture 4 plans for 12 hours, problem solving skills ability test and critical thinking ability test. The data were analyzed in terms of mean, standard deviation, percentage and then compared with the criteria to interpret the quality level results. Research findings were as follows 1. Students taught through DIY plant tissue culture: STEM activities to develop problem solving skills of mean 16.32, percentage 81.61, excellent quality level 2. Students taught through DIY plant tissue culture: STEM activities to develop critical thinking of mean 22.04, percentage 73.45, good quality level.
