Abstract: The important and unique resource of Chiang Mai province and the Northern Thailand is the tropical forests. Chiang forest range and Northern Thailand consists of the natural resources are filled such as trees, rivers, animals, reptiles, mushroom, and herbs. The Northern Thailand forest will have a different type of geographical features and soil. Every forest range is having a unique and diverse culture and people who are living depending on the forests. A lot of minerals, timbers are possessed by the forests. However, fire occurrence in the forests is causing high-level damages for resources such as trees, air, animals, birds, herbs, and soil also loosened without trees. This slowly leads to high level of landslides in the future. Forest fire causes through reasons like human beings, trees crashes, and overheat in the forest. Although firefighting team and local people are facing the challenges in tough terrains, finding the alternate path, to know the temperature in that spot, and wind range at that time. We propose a method to identify the fire through IoT devices such as heat sensors, temperature sensor (BME280), light sensor (LDR Photoresistor sensor module), smoke sensors (MQ2 module), and Global Positioning System (GPS) position sharing unit which share the information through blockchain to the selective units to spot the exact place. By analyzing the data, we can predict the path of the forest fire and fix them as fire spot. In future, we can stop and reduce the speed of fire by nature and artificial methods. This proposed method will be implemented in Doi Suthep forest range in Chiang Mai province, Thailand. This process gives us possibility to save human lives, cattle, blocking roads, and so on.
