In the digital era, there are many investable assets and make profit from it. Because investments always have risk, the investors then decrease their risk by finding assets that are expected to retain or increase in their values during times of market turbulence. Herein the assets which can retain or increase in their values will be called as safe-haven assets. Gold has been known as the safe-haven asset, however cryptocurrency is a class of digital assets which is claimed as the new gold in the digital era. Consequently, this study aims to answer a question “Can cryptocurrency be a new safe-haven?”.en_US
