Abstract: Building energy consumption in Thailand has an upward trend, thus Thailand realizes energy savings and has enacted a building control law. In the past, a law was passed to regulate new buildings or a building that is about to be renovate must be designed to be energy efficient using an Overall Thermal Transfer Value: OTTV is taken into consideration. The problem that arises is that the designer has to add a building design inspection procedure before submitting a construction permit, which may increase the time and causes design delays. Many designers are turning to technology that can help speed up the design process, which is Building Information Modeling (BIM), but even though there are Technology that helps design, the building's energy efficiency assessment process remains a long process, as it requires the assessor to perform an audit with the BEC program and if the designer wishes to pass the standards, construction costs from design can be so high that they cannot be put intro reality. As the problem above, this study was created. The main objective of this study is to enable designers to examine the initial OTTV standard themselves as well as being able to control construction costs not to be too high. This study have to use complex knowledge from many sources to develop a computer script in add-on programs In Autodesk Revit which called the Dynamo. After developing a set of instructions, the next step is checking the performance that this set of instructions can be used for calculate or not. This process divides the performance test into two aspects, where 1 is the calculation of the OTTV value compare with OTTV value which receive from Dynamo and by the standard program by law (BEC). The results of this performance test the computer script can calculate OTTV values very close to the BEC standard program, which has an R value of 0.9898. In the second aspect, the cost of wall construction was compared with the preliminary cost estimation principle, where it was found that the the computer script could calculate the construction cost equal to the preliminary cost estimation in the case of a single-floor solid wall that not complicated, but in the case of buildings with some transparent windows or walls, it was found that the computer script would calculate the cost less than the initial cost estimate because the resolution of the model in the Revit program is very high. Therefore, the calculation of the wall area is multiplied by the unit price is less but the accuracy is still in the acceptable range. This computer script allows the designers to use them to meet the standards while effectively controlling the cost of each design approach.
