As a result, a lot of people are victims caused by Ponzi scheme. Ponzi scheme was divided into these types: Ponzi scheme in the form of goods and services; the membership, whereby these two types were mainly used to persuade people to invest their money through the online social media; and a new type of deception on the internet networks through the websites to persuade people to invest their money through the investment schemes, the investment packages or the renting of purchasing and selling systems which were difficult or unable to be checked. In addition, they were counterfeited or claimed that those were proved by the responsible agencies. Most of their claims included investment in other businesses e.g. property, stock exchange, financial instruments, and currency exchange market. Their members were promised to receive the compensation or interest based on the specified rates. Having success in persuading other people to be a member, they would receive the compensation in the form of fees for successful persuasion. As above mentioned, Ponzi scheme in Thailand smartly raises its credibility along with its ongoing development. Even though the public is now aware of Ponzi scheme, some of them are still victims of this financial fraud. According to the results of the study on factors influencing the decision on Ponzi scheme, five significant variables were gender, age, degree, beliefs, and force.
