Abstract: The objective of this research is to study estimate the impact of minimum wages on employees' income at different levels of income and assess the impact on the inequality of employee income in Thailand. The study uses data from the Labor Force Survey project from the National Statistical Office. Which is the study of factors affecting wages and the impact of the minimum wage policy Quantitative regression techniques were used to analyze wage changes. When a minimum wage setting policy is established using the logwage equation to look at the impact of the minimum wage policy. By comparing the coefficients showing the rate of change of the minimum wage on the employee's wages, they were compared to look at the impact of the minimum wage policy in each quantile to study the impact. Of the policy on determining the minimum wage rate against the inequality The equation estimate found that the determination of the minimum wage had the greatest impact on the low-income workers. Affect the employees of the middle income group, followed by and affecting the low-income employees the least. Other variables have both had a significant impact on the low-income employees. And impact greatly on the high income employees The variables that had a significant impact on low-income employees were age, area, municipality and IMR, while variables that had a significant impact on high-income employees were marital status and education level. From the estimation, it can be seen that the increase in the minimum wage significantly affects the increase in the wages of employees. By that increase in wage It does not just happen with the lowskilled workforce. But also external impacts to more skilled workers or it can be said that The minimum wage policy is effective in increasing income. And reduce the poverty of the people It can also help reduce the disparity a little.
