Abstract: Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is software that helps manage key supply chains such as production, finance, sales, and distribution. Furthermore, other processes of the organization to operate more efficiently and automatically include helping to communicate effectively and see the overall picture of the organization. At present, in Thailand, ERP systems are widely used. Both big business or small and medium-sized businesses cover the manufacturing sector, the agricultural sector, the trade sector, and the service sector, significant economic and social drivers. However, implementing the ERP system will have a high cost in the long run, therefore unsuitable for small and medium-sized businesses that may cause costly problems. Therefore, this research aims to study and review the literature applying the ERP system in SME businesses in various industries. The research methodology is the literature review, data analysis, showing the findings and suggestions. The first part describes the characteristics of ERP systems used in SME businesses. Through case studies, it discusses how to determine the appropriate functions for SMEs to make their operations more efficient. The combined analysis provides a complete in-depth description of the company's ERP system or business process. A conceptual framework is proposed to show the guideline of further system development functionality and the successful implementation of ERP systems in agricultural sectors.
