dc.description.abstract© 2020 IEEE. With the great benefits of robotics, it is noticeable as a powerful medium of instruction in computer programming. Likewise, game-based learning (GBL) is a promoting solution for active education. This paper proposes an alternative approach that applies GBL based on Robotics Visualization for improving students' comprehension of loop concept in the academic course. The pilot study was conducted to investigate the learning performance of university students regarding the coding practices and programming exercises through systematic activities in the new approach frame. The experiment was designed composing of a pre-Test and post-Test. The results from the participants represented the effectiveness of the methodology. This approach distinctly aided lesson achievements as well as progressive skill improvement. The indicated finding reflects that learners had positive responses and better well-understanding in the class; furthermore, the approach accelerated their learning proficiency.en_US
