Abstract: The study interest in an adaptation of labor groups under serious production process in Chinese banana plantation along Thai-Lao border in Phaya Mengrai District Chiang Rai Province by study adaptation strategies for livelihood of labor groups in context of Chinese influence in agroindustry affect their living. The objectives of this study are 1) to study adaptation strategies for livelihood of labor groups in Chinese banana plantation along Thai-Lao border in context of agriculture industry economic development under China's influence 2) To determine relation in social and cultural of labor groups that use as adaptation strategies for labor’s livelihood. This study utilized a qualitative research, data were obtained by field research in Chinese banana plantation area, observation, and interview labor groups. According to the results of the study, it was shown that there are 3 kinds of strategy. Firstly, labors create several ways of living by choosing several options or activities integrated for achievement. Secondly, they adapt the cost of living as resource and capital management strategy. Thirdly, adaptation of social tools. This strategy is applied as buffer in precarious situation. The condition in using these strategies is a variety kind of capital that labor belong or reachable. Furthermore, the study also find that series of social relation can be important tools to support an adaptation of labor groups when facing risk in living. Labor groups have enormous social network in numerous cluster this include cousins, friends, colleague, chief which flexibly adapt to lower their risk. Study also found that result of adaptation for livelihood of labors can be classify into 3 groups. Firstly, the success group, labor with skill and experience beside labor’s network in banana plantation develop them to into professional worker. Secondly, labor groups that adapt by variety of capital. Finally, unadaptable group who suffer from arduous situation since they lack of capital and social network to create any option, mostly are non-local or alien labors
