dc.description.abstractThe study was a developmental research which aimed to examine cultural validity of Sensory Processing Measure for Thai children aged 5-12 years. This study used the process of translation and cross-cultural adaptation of a self-report measure which had a total of 6 stages including study and understand the study tool, forward translation, synthesis of the translations, back translation, expert committee, and pre-testing. Through theprocessof translation and cross-cultural adaptation of a self-report measure, a prefinal version of the cultural validity of Sensory Processing Measure for Thai children aged 5-12 years was obtained. Subjects in the pre-testing stage were 35 teachers and 35 parents of boys and girls aged between 5-12 years old. After the pre-testing stage, data obtained from subjects were used to make a final version of the Sensory Processing Measure Thai version for children aged 5-12 years whichyielded the successful translation and cultural validity.en_US
