A simple highly versatile and efficient method has been developed for the three-component coupling of aromatic aldehydes, aromatic amines and diethyl phosphate in the presence of a catalytic amount of nickel (II) chloride hexahydrate in acetonitrile. The advantages of this method are high yield, mild reaction conditions and easy work up procedure.en_US
