dc.description.abstract© IEOM Society International. Healthcare management is becoming a significant issue in the world scale due to the increasing demand in the healthcare section. Many countries endeavor to improve and develop their healthcare system in order to support those demands. Thailand is a country that also aims to develop the healthcare system to the world class. Many techniques and tools are applied for improving healthcare management in Thailand including IE tools. According to the importance of IE tools associated with healthcare management, this study aims to propose a survey of research work on the improvement of healthcare management in Thailand based on using IE tools. The survey will examine the improvement of healthcare management in Thailand based on IE tool type in the literature review. Moreover, for each research, operational level and system level of the healthcare system will be evaluated and then case studies will then be presented. Finally, research gaps will be identified and be addressed in further research studies to develop more effective healthcare management in Thailand.en_US
