Abstract: Of 131 stool samples collected from piglets with diarrhea in northern Thailand between July 2006 and August 2008, 14 (10.7%) were positive for group A rotavirus. Sequence analysis showed that 13 strains (92.9%) belonged to the rare P[23] genotype combination with G9 or G3 genotypes. Copyright © 2011, American Society for Microbiology. All Rights Reserved.
