Abstract: The purposes of this independent study were 1) to evaluate the results of the implementation of Government Savings Bank’s School Bank Project in Mueang Chiang Mai district 2) to investigate problems and obstacles of the implementation of Government Savings Bank’s School Bank Project in Mueang Chiang Mai district 3) to survey the recommendations and improvement guidelines of the implementation of Government Savings Bank’s School Bank Project from the student members, project advisers, and guardians of the student members; and 4) to survey the image in perspective of the student members, project advisers, and guardians of the student members regarding the corporate social responsibility implementation of Government Savings Bank through the School Bank Project by using questionnaires for a representative sample of 398 people and interviewing 11 School Bank Project advisers in Mueang Chiang Mai district. The results of the study show that the implementation of Government Savings Bank’s School Bank Project in Mueang Chiang Mai district accomplished five aspects of its objectives ( = 3.47, S.D. = 0.689). The Student members and the School Bank Project advisers considered that the School Bank Project helped the student members to have instilled savings discipline; helped them to enhance their skills ( = 3.49), provided experience and benefits about work process and team spirit ( = 3.51) ; taught them to use the time wisely ( = 3.31) ; encouraged bank engagement, built a good relationship between the bank, school and students ( = 3.52) ; and also encouraged a good image of the Government Savings Bank through corporate social responsibility ( = 3.50). The problems of the study were problems of irregular saving, problems of service period, problems of student training, and problems of student project participation. It was suggested that Government Savings Bank should allocate a higher budget to support this project, provide more appropriate equipment, provide more training for the students every year and increase coordination efficiency with Government Savings Bank.
